The software package comes with a large database
holding the descriptions of many thousands images that you may install.
These images are mainly from NASA CD-ROM discs, especially for X-ray astronomy
(Einstein Observatory, ROSAT).
Many catalogs are also described.
This database is to be enriched with your own images and catalogs.
An entire directory of images may be described in the database in
a single operation, which makes image archiving easy.
Each image, catalog and astronomical object may have
its own associated files and programs and web sites. These are automatically
selected upon using an image, or a catalog, or by pointing the mouse at
an astronomical object and they can be viewed or run from your Internet
browser.
The program can also create a link towards the on-line
Digitized Sky Survey or POSS, so as to download an image for a selected sky area.
